Dark and Totally Twisted!

**Warning Extremely Dark Non-Con**
What the hell did I just read? I loved it, I hated it, and I wanted more of it.
As of late I've been exploring more of the darker non-con books and then I happened on to this one. Yeah, I wanted dark, and I wanted non-con and I got exactly that and more. This is a very hardcore dark non-con read that starts with abduction and is non-stop torture. All very explicit and aggressive. And one of the most graphically disturbing books I've read. And the best part? It was plausible and very believable.
Mark is one twisted individual, obsessed with a BDSM porn star, Emily. He's watched her for years, has all of her movies and has stalked her enough to know her daily routines, her family, friends and where they all live, and he has a plan to finally make Emily his.
Mark kidnaps Emily and takes her home where he completely breaks her down and makes her his slave. But it's the way he does things that will totally twist you up, make you think you can't read another page but at the same time you can't look away. That is exactly what this book did to me. I could not stop reading.
This book is full of degradation, humiliation, and heavy S&M to include water sports, forniphilia, bondage, rape, branding, piercing, sodomy. All manner of whips, floggers, canes, and suspension hooks. Oh my! And let's not forget the cage in the closet.
The total mind bender in all of this is how the author actually made me feel for Mark at the end. What? Really? Not only was my mind twisted up by the end of this book, but so was my heart.
This book left me wanting more. An epilogue would have been nice. A "One Year Later" type of chapter.

Review for Obsession-Girl Abducted

A very well-written book. Almost unflinchingly evocative at times.
Mark is definitively sadistic and more than a little crazy in his obsession of the beautiful Emily.
Yet the reader can sympathize with his computer nerd personality. It sounds like he might have been the geek who was picked on in school and didn't grow into his looks until college, like many of us. Perhaps that is why he got into the BDSM lifestyle. The only way he felt he could get a woman or gratification of any kind was through domination.
At first it seems like he plans to treat Emily like a queen but things quickly get out of hand. It isn't long before she is made his sex slave, stripped of everything including clothing and often denied things including the right to eat, privacy, and often made to sit in a cage for hours on end after brutal whippings.
But there are tender moments too, such as gentle kisses when he applies salve to the welts he makes on her naked flesh with the whip. Or the way he sometimes holds her in bed. Through it all Emily sees him not just as her tormentor but also as a man that she desires and desires to please.
When eventually Mark professes his love to his captive she almost says it back, but something stays her tongue. Shortly after, he decides he is sorry for inflicting so much pain upon the person he loves more than himself, as if torturing her could beat her into accepting him as his lover. But he realizes though he can force Emily to do almost anything, he can't force her to give him what he wants the most, her heart.
He decides he loves her enough to let her go after he slowly reintroduces her to normal life.
She will live like a guest in his house until he takes her to the bus station, dressed in the finery he had originally intended to drape her in as he gives her back what he once took from her the right to eat, talk whenever she wants to, shackled no longer. In return he will treat her as an equal and not touch her as he did as her Master which strangely, Emily finds she misses, especially alone in the guest room at night.
Emily has missed her freedom, but seems reluctant to leave Mark.
Yet she doesn't protest about his plan, even when they have a last night of passion together in which he gives her no rules, no boundaries, even allowing her the release he had denied her so many times before.
At the end he leaves his beloved at the bus station with regrets and his number, believing she will never use it.
Bereft and sad, Emily reaches into her pocket for pay phone money, not able to get her Master out of her mind.
I had really hoped for one more chapter, maybe a reunion between Emily and Mark at a hotel room when she says she does have feelings for him, but their story ends there.
It looks like Emily decided she wanted to be with Mark wherever he planned to go next, even if he decided to flee the country since he is now a criminal.
Or will the police ever hunt him down?
I wonder if we'll ever know.

Four and a half stars, but I rounded up.
This was a dark, intriguing tale that I couldn't put down. I read it in one night. I liked the hardcore S&M and the psychological aspect of this story. Too often books will say they have BDSM in them and they're mere spankings and light bondage. This story had so much more than that.
I'm aware in real life BDSM is supposed to be SSC, but this is fiction and in capture fantasy stories I don't want all those rules and negotiations. I want dark, gritty, and psychological. This story was indeed that and more. The fact that the guy loved/obsessed over her in his own twisted sort of way added touching elements to the story that gave a nice depth to balance the brutal parts.
It would have been a perfect five if the sex scenes had more detail. Most were less than a page or a mere paragraph in a few instances. They were good. I just wanted more detail. There was quite a bit of oral sex. I think it's wonderful, but it got a bit repetitive.
Still, this was a great story and one I know I'll read again. The ending was a bit quick, but it was still a good closing scene. I really liked this book and will read more from this author.
